The following specialist modules are often selected as part of a Leadership programme. Each module uses exercises and role plays especially written for your industry or company.
Change Management
Learn how to use Kotter's 8 step model for leading change, and use a simple template to make your next change project run successfully. You will also need to coach individuals through change. Learn how to use William Bridges' model for "letting go, managing the transition and new beginnings."
Cross-cultural Management
If you are leading a cross-cultural team, then learning about cultural differences will greatly improve the team's effectiveness. Hofstede's famous research findings form the basis of this module. Practical applications focus on how to communicate, resolve conflict and influence and persuade across the cultural differences.
Emotionally Intelligent Leaders
Teams which have already gained greatly from sharing MBTI® understanding will want to go the next step
−
sharing their "emotional and social competencies". This module uses the Emotional Quotient Inventory® (EQ-i®). Leaders need high EQ scores to be effective in people management. This module teaches skills for raising low scores.
Leadership in Action
All MDS programmes use experiential learning. However, if you need continuous experiential exercises for your managers to practice leadership, this module is for you. Each manager leads an exercise, then receives valuable, targeted feedback from the trainer and team members. This module can also be used for assessment.
Strategic Thinking
This module gives you an overview of the strategic management tools developed by the Business Schools. You then concentrate on the skills for the first part of the process −
strategic thinking. You will learn how to use the creative right brain as well as the analytical left brain. After this you will be ready to shape your company's strategy.
