Beth
BA

Beth is an experienced coach and mentor.  Having worked in New York and Asia she brings to her coaching assignments extensive intercultural experience.

Her corporate background spans over 15 years in the New York and Asia/Pacific advertising industries.  During her tenure with Ogilvy and Mather in Asia she managed training and people development for over 5,000 employees across the Asia Pacific region.

With excellent communication skills, Beth is a gifted facilitator and trainer of groups and teams and has the ability to bridge-build between people from different backgrounds, be they professional or cultural. She has coached executives, artists and entrepreneurs in the US, Europe and Asia.

Beth support clients through periods of transition. She views the period of transition as a time of infinite possibility, and helps her clients maximize their inherent gifts and uniqueness while they navigate the choices and emotions that accompany change.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a seasoned executive coach based in Hong Kong. She specalises in cross-cultural coaching, succession planning and personal and organisation effectiveness.

Having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and China Bonnie brings rich business acumen and international trade experience to her coaching. She assists HR managers and Directors to adopt a coaching culture and environment for their talented staff development program and is currently a lecturer in the HKU Space, teaching Corporate Coaching. Her clients have included Toshiba, HKTDC, Itochu and Unidux.

Bonnie is the first IAC-CC certified coach from Hong Kong, and served as the Director on the Board of Governors of International Association of Coaching (IAC), a leading non-profit certifying organisation in 2007-2010. As one of the first-batch coaches in Asia, Bonnie is the founding member of the Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC) and was elected President in 2005/6. She is actively involved as the Honorary Advisor to the community.

Caroline is one of the first ICF Professional Certified Coaches in Taiwan, and is a seasoned executive coach and business coach.Caroline has worked for more than 14 years with multi-national companies, including 4 years as an Assistant General Manager in a restaurant business and 10 years as a training consultant.

For the past 10 years Caroline has devoted herself to coaching from both a corporate and small business perspective and her clients have included GSK & Deloitte, Pizza Hut, HSBC Investment, AIG, UDN group, Formosa Regent, Siemens, Ernst Young, Dian Rong Beauty, ThyssenKrupp Elevator (Sum Rhine Enterprises Ltd), Ciba Vision, Taipei Children Theater Association and Paco Business Hotel (China), Qualcomm and Standard Charter. Catriona

Catriona is a skilled coach, cross cultural consultant and counselor. Her Appreciative Inquiry approach is collaborative and positive. She offers individuals, groups and organisations executive coaching, personal/workplace counselling, career development/transition, change facilitation and Appreciative Inquiry interventions.

A resident of Hong Kong for 35 years, she has had a career in marketing in the UK, Eastern Europe, USA and Asia from multinationals to entrepreneurial start-ups. In 1985 she founded one of the first companies in Hong Kong to offer psychological assessment for managerial development.

Catriona is experienced in working with C- level clients, offering in-depth coaching and effective leadership skills development. She works in Asia Pacific with many Fortune 500 companies, developing cross cultural competency of executives moving regionally and globally.

Chris D

Chris is a seasoned executive coach, who focuses on leadership and management transition, talent development and team coaching and specialises in supporting individual and organisational change.

His clients are typically senior executives, high caliber leaders or high-potentials who want to expand their skills, address significant leadership issues, or to accelerate their transition into a new role of increased scope and complexity.

Based in Hong Kong, Chris works throughout the region, significantly to Tokyo, Singapore, Greater China and India. With a focus on behavioral change, his specialty is executive assessment and coaching, leadership development and change management.

Christoph

Christoph is a consultant and executive coach with a strong focus on business leadership. He has lived and worked in Beijing and Hong Kong for the last 12 years and coaches executives for business improvement. These include a wide range of skills for managing in a cross-cultural setting.

A trained lawyer, Christoph worked as a lawyer, corporate turn-around specialist, and banker. He restructured numerous dot.com telecom companies and other troubled start-ups in Silicon Valley in the ‘90s. During those assignments he usually served as the interim CEO/COO, and was in charge of cost-cutting, fund raising, and general management until the business became profitable again. Before working in Silicon Valley, Christoph was at Dresdner Bank (Germany, Canada and the US), where he worked in the field of Credit Risk Management and Commodity and Trade Finance (1990-1993).

Christoph is presently researching for his PhD thesis. He holds a Master of Law (International Business Law) from the University of Manchester, England, a Juris Doctor from the University of Hamburg, Germany as well as an MBA.

Echo is an Executive Coach and Organization Development Consultant who has been involved in large scale organizational development and talent development work with multinationals in a global and regional (Asia Pacific) context for the last 18 years.

Echo was born and raised in China, and started her career in HR and Training Development with Nestle and Unilever in Beijing, specialising in communication and leadership development. Echo then went overseas to Canada and provided OD consulting services across various industries including oil and gas, consumer goods, IT, engineering, financial services, pulp & paper and hospitality. She worked on full time basis with blue chip multinationals such as Intel, Credit Suisse as well as with privately owned Asian conglomerates. Edith is a senior global leadership coach and intercultural communication specialist based in Beijing, China. Successfully engaged in a second career after 20 years as a foreign correspondent, she is also a published author.

Frank

Frank Wu, CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach), is the first bilingual Chinese teacher/trainer of co-active coaching in China for CTI (Coaches Training Institute, California). He started his coaching career in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, in 2004. Having relocated to Beijing in 2006, he has delivered over 2000 hours of coaching in Chinese and English to individuals and groups. His clients include managers, executives and work teams from both Chinese and multi-national companies, such as Canon, Cummins Inc., Ernst & Young, and the Career International (Beijing), as well as from non-profit organizations such as the British Embassy in China, the Energy Foundation, and BICF (the Beijing International Christian Fellowship).

Dr. Leung practiced as a clinical psychologist in the UK National Health Service for 30 years. She was also a senior manager in a hospital management team. Therefore, she is not only a very skilled clinical psychologist, but also has extensive experience in planning, training and staff development in a major NHS hospital.

Since her return to Hong Kong in 2000, she has published books and papers on Gambling issues as well as holding various psychological management workshops (personal effectiveness; positive psychology at work; conflict management) for government departments. As Director of Psychological Services at the University of Hong Kong she trained clinical psychologists and subsequently transferred to the post of Acting Director at Student Counselling Centre at The University of Hong Kong. She is presently serving as the Hon. Assistant Professor teaching (part time) counseling master course students and is the Honorary Assistant Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences, researching with Problem gamblers at The University of Hong Kong.

JS is a very experienced executive coach and management trainer. After a distinguished 20 year career in the communications sector JS moved into selection and people development. Over the last 10 years he has helped many senior executives enhance their leadership effectiveness. His clients include Boeing, Cisco, General Motors, and the CSC (Civil Service Commission) of Korea.

As well as his coaching and training portfolio JS also serves as the Senior Partner of a premier search firm in Korea. Before this he worked for Heidrick and Struggles where he became a seasoned assessment expert. In his first career he was General Manager for Cable and Wireless HKT in Korea for over 6 years, and Sales Director at AT & T Commission Korea Ltd. for 5 years. His earlier work experience was with the Daewoo Group as Purchasing Manager, a position he held for 5 years.

JS is an adjunct Professor at aSSIST (Seoul School of Integrated Science and Technology) and regularly lectures at Chung-Ang University and the Seoul National University as a guest Professor on leadership and career management.With a first degree in English and Economics (joint) from the Seoul National University, JS then completed his M.Ed. at the Graduate School of Seoul National University, and an MBA at Yonsei University. Katrien

Katrien has a Masters in Law and European Law. Before starting her coaching career, she worked in the legal field for almost 15 years as a legal advisor to the Belgian Prime Minister and a Magistrate in the Belgian Constitutional Court.

She made a career shift in 2008, when her family moved to Shanghai. She qualified as a coach, because she felt passionate about coaching, one of the most rewarding aspects of which is to enable people to function better in their private and professional life and helping them to move forward. Katrien’s mission is to help her clients reach excellence, so they can live an integrated and happy life and have a positive impact on the people and the world around them.

With a broad client base from very different backgrounds and nationalities, a high percentage of Katrien’s clients are business women. A native of Scotland, he has lived and worked in Hong Kong and China for 16 years. With extensive corporate experience in banking and finance (Royal Bank of Scotland), insurance (AIG) and Managing Director Asia Pacific, University of Michigan Business School, Kent has blended practical experience and application with world thought leadership. His 10 year role with Michigan enabled him to integrate with global and local organisations such as manufacturing, retailing, utilities, governmental and financial to assist with custom designed executive development solutions for mid to senior executives in a broad range of leadership and function specific initiatives.

Leah

Leah is a seasoned Cross-Cultural and Transition Coach. She currently works and lives in Shanghai specialising in cross-cultural training and consultancy for multi-nationals, the Cultural and Education Section of the British Consulate-General and the Shanghai Education Bureau. Leah has also worked with among others Alcatel, Baosteel, Dow Chemical, Westinghouse, GE, Huarong, Ingersoll Rand, The Ritz-Carlton, Unilever, and Vodaphone.

In China, Leah worked in the North West city of Xi’an for the Xi’an Translators’ Training College and Xi’an Janssen Pharmaceutical Ltd as a presentation skills consultant and foreign language teacher. She also worked in Quanzhou, Fujian Province at the Overseas Chinese University where she lectured in British and American Cultural Studies.

Leah has an MSc in Training and Performance Management from the University of Leicester, UK. She is accredited to use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®). Leah is also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the International Coach Academy, which is an International Coach Federation accredited institution.

Liz L

Liz is a seasoned HR professional who has lived and worked in Asia since 1997. For 10 years she was the Regional HR Director and one of the 3 company directors for the Economist Group in Asia and for the past 4 years she has been a specialist facilitator and executive coach, working with leading MNCs in the Region.

Having spent 25 years in the HR field in the UK and in Hong Kong Liz has gained extensive experience as a generalist and then as an Learning and Development specialist. During her corporate career with the Economist Group she was involved in the launch, growth and management of businesses in Hong Kong, London, Delhi, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Brussels, and Vienna. She also coached the senior management team during a period of business expansion and helped restructure resources in the in the Group’s largest business in Asia.

As an executive coach Liz’s main area of expertise is working with executives who want to accelerate their leadership development. She is also a very experienced career management consultant and outplacement coach and carries out extensive online coaching assignments around the Region.

Liz has been Head of Executive Coaching with MDS - OI Partners Hong Kong since 2005. With over 20 years experience in Human Resources Liz is a highly experienced career and transition coach.

As the Human Resources Advisor at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising (London) for over 10 years her role spanned the full spectrum of HR responsibilities. As a Careers Advisor with the Department of Employment she was a key player in introducing careers advice for adults that had been outplaced or wishing a career change. The demanding role included guiding clients through on-line psychometric assessments and one to one consultations.

After completing her studies in Business Administration at Brighton University she gained a Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) and is a Fellow member (FCIPD). Liz is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Liz moved to Hong Kong from the UK over 10 years ago and is a native English speaker.

Lynette
MA Economics

Lynette combines more than 30 years of General Management experience with Change Management and Human Resources expertise, which includes implementing change management, performance management, leadership development and succession planning throughout Asia-Pacific. Having lived and worked in Europe, India, Asia and New Zealand her strengths lie in being able to work in a multi-cultural environment and in identifying and developing high potentials at both senior and junior levels.

Her career started with the United Nations in Geneva as a Research Economist. She returned to India as a systems analyst and then business manager for ICL (International Computers). She co-founded 2 companies in the area of software and service exports- one of these was a joint venture with a European group headquartered in the Netherlands. She sold the companies 7 years later and re-joined ICL India as the VP of Marketing. She set up a Joint Venture between ICL and Datacraft - a leading Data communications solutions provider in Asia-Pacific headquartered in Singapore- and became its first President and CEO in India. She later worked for the Datacraft group (now part of Dimension Data) in New Zealand and as Group Human Resources Director at Singapore.

Lynette runs her own consulting company which focuses on Executive coaching and business strategies to enter the Indian market. She divides her time between New Zealand and India.

Lynette gained a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, U.K. She has had significant teaching and lecturing experience in Singapore and India and delivers talks at seminars around India and the AP region.

Mae-Ling

Mae-Ling is a certified Life Coach with over 20 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience. Her areas of expertise include building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and intuitively understanding their needs to support personal and professional growth opportunities. Passionate about helping people through life transitions, Mae-Ling is a leader in the Shanghai expatriate community and brings a wealth of local knowledge and connections to her clients.

Her professional career began with Apple Computer in K-12 Education Marketing in Silicon Valley and Worldwide Developer Relations based in Asia, continued with an early internet start-up company in San Francisco, and progressed to becoming an entrepreneur both in California and in Shanghai.

Maria has over 15 years of corporate experience and currently works as a OD Consultant and Leadership Coach. Maria previously worked with Kodak as Learning & Development Director for the Greater Asia Region. In her ten years experiences working with Kodak in the learning & development field, she worked on wide variety of areas at a local, regional and global level including: global design and rollout of the Kodak Frontline Leadership Excellence System, Talent Development, Coaching and Mentoring, OD and Change Management.

He managed the start-up of a management and organisation development department where he was responsible for developing and implementing multi-method selection systems, assessment centres, leadership development programmes and organisational transformation processes. At The Coca-Cola Company he was responsible for the development of executives worldwide including executive resource planning, executive assessment, and executive development. Mike directed several leading edge-initiatives to develop global business leaders.

Mike gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at The University of Richmond, a MA in Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership & Counseling at The College of William & Mary. Sarah Wang has over 17 years of corporate experience and is today a Human Resources Consultant and Leadership Coach. She provides HR-related consultancy and one-on-one professional coaching services to executives and managers. Sarah has been in executive management capacity in the last 10 years in functional leadership positions in human resources with Fortune 500 firms in multiple industries, including high-tech, pharmaceutical, shipping & logistics, and FMCG. Her clients include Associated British Food, Bayer, Buy 360, Daimler Benz, Deloitte, LV, HP, Matthews, Monsanto, Motorola, VW, etc. Her clients are from China functional Directors to Asia Pacific Managing Directors and business owners.

Before operating as an independent HR consultant and coach, Sarah was the head of Human Resources at BAT Greater China, leading all aspects of HR activities including appointment to BAT’s management committee for Greater China Area and HR management committee for Asia Pacific. Seema

Seema is a highly experienced coach and trainer with a focus on cross-cultural issues.  She has spent over 6 years in HR consulting with wide exposure to HR systems, strategy, policies and management training in India.

After a career start with Citicorp Securities, she spent 3 years in a major HR consulting firm. During this time she worked with top companies in India including Apple India, HCL Technologies, Bharti Telenet and ICICI Prudential .

She has a passion for designing, implementing and delivering learning programmes which have included management skills, communication, performance management and teambuilding programmes.

Seema trains and coaches senior managers, with special focus on human behaviour, inter and intra personal skills to develop and achieve their optimum performance.  Using a range of assessment tools Seema is able to coach managers to better understand their strengths and development needs. She also developed an Expat Manual for a multinational company.

Toby is a coach and HR consultant dividing his time between Beijing, where he is based, Shanghai and Hong Kong. His specialty focus is executive coaching, leadership development, career transition and change management. As a coach, consultant and senior HR Director, Toby has worked with expatriate and Asian executives in most Asian countries, across a wide range of industries, including in particular Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Minerals and Building Materials.

Prior to this Toby had over 20 years of corporate experience with Fortune 500 companies. Tracy is a Beijing-based coach experienced in executive coaching, career coaching and life coaching. She draws on 18 years of professional experience in marketing and communications, and recruiting for advertising. Prior to becoming a coach Tracy was Senior Consultant and Beijing Office Head for Quadrant Consulting, a boutique executive search company focused on high level searches for 4A advertising agencies. Vinaya has over 20 years experience in human resource management and people development both in corporate and consulting.  This includes strategic HR planning, systems and processes, organistional diagnosis, behavioural training, assessment centres, executive coaching, mentoring and career counselling. She is based in Mumbai.

After 10 years in corporate HR positions, she started her own consulting firm in 1996 to provide outsourced HR services. Her particular areas of service include management development, OD consulting and senior executive search. Vinaya is also a Global Partner of the Centre for Strategic Management which has 20 offices in 38 countries.

Vinaya works with senior managers in many business sectors, including IT, telecoms, pharmaceutical, media, entertainment, retail and advertising.

Vinaya has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons) and a Masters in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She has completed her Doctoral programme at SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.
