An effective TNA gives you reliable data on which to build a cost-effective training plan. The MDS 360® does this quickly and easily. You normally choose to assess a management group of 16 - 20 people. The TNA produces an individual report for each candidate, plus a scatter gram presentation which shows the "low score – high importance" competencies which are shared by your group. You should target these for a cost-effective training plan.

There are 3 preparation steps:
  1. Tell MDS what competencies you wish to assess. You normally use the competencies which you have already identified on the job profiles for your group of managers.
  2. MDS will then create questions which measure those competencies
  3. Give us the e-mail addresses of the managers in the TNA group, plus e-mail addresses of people you nominate as observers. Each candidate will need 1 boss, at least 2 peer group members, and at least 3 direct reports as observers.

MDS will then do the rest. The Online assessment is automatic and confidential. It is serviced by an independent server monitored by an MDS administrator. Observers can therefore be assured of anonymity. The scores from peer group observers are averaged out-likewise the scores from direct reports.
